Gustavo
is the youngest of his Club. He turned into a Rotarian as soon as he
got his degree in Accountancy in 1999. Soon after, he started his
postgraduate course in Business Administration at Buenos Aires
University and nowadays works as an Operation Manager for a TV Cable
and High-Speed ISP company. |
 |
He has also been working as Teaching
Assistance Tenured in the Economic Science Faculty at the National
University of Northeast. |
 |
Gustavo has been traveling abroad to
observe the development of Public Utility companies management as well
as enterprises based on networking technologies. At the same time he
learned about different cultures and made a lot of friends staying
with Host Families and International Youth Hostels. |
 |
In addition to his skills, he is an
Argentinean folk dancer teacher and enjoys home made cooking, always
willing to become a professional Chef. At present he is the RC
Resistencia Community Service Chairman and a member of the Matching
Grants Subcommittee at the DRFC. |

Lia
is a Business Administrator and she has been working for Coca - Cola
as the Planning Coordinator for the Northeastern region since 1998,
developing the sales activities that the company carries out in the
Northeast of Argentina, frequently traveling around. |
 |
She has also been working as an
independent advisor, developing Business Plans for different companies
and nonprofit organizations. She got a degree in Business
Administration from the Cuenca del Plata University in 2001. |
 |
She devotes her free time to a
community project which aims to provide food and working tools for
children of poor schools. |
 |
Lia got a scholarship for pre-
graduated students at The State University of NY. She obtained another
scholarship that enabled her to take seminars about Latin-American
issues at Texas State University and MBA classes, to have meetings in
different institutions from US like the IMF and the World Bank to
improve the relationship between Argentina and US. |
 |
She also carried out an investigation
about new technologies of telecommunication and took MBA classes at
Mondragon University on the Vasque Country, Spain. |
 |
She likes traveling and learning about
different cultures. In fact she enjoyed a lot the experience of being
a host family for young people from Africa, Australia, Japan, Malaysia
and Spain. She enjoys cultural activities like going to theatres,
cinemas, art expositions and concerts. She likes sports very much, in
winter she specially enjoy skiing and riding horses. |

lives in Formosa, Argentina. He has worked as Chief System Analyst at
the Lottery of Formosa since 1998. |

He studied at the Catholic University
of Paraguay and graduated as University Programmer (1995) and System
Analyst (1998). |

Last Year (2001) he obtained an
Scholarship for almost tree months to learn about Integrated System
Network Management in Tokyo from the Government of Japan. |
 |
His specialty is software development
and Data Analysis. At the Lottery he is in charge of develop
administrative software for the organization. |
 |
As a free lance worker he made small
hotel systems, business credit information system, and data base
administration for Argentinas national programs. |
 |
Besides his professional interest he
likes to learn and talk about foreign cultures. He made friends from
Germany, Japan, India, Pakistan, Siri Lanka, Brazil, Paraguay,
Thailand and other countries. And now he wants to share his
experienceand learn from you. |

Rick
is an Information Technologies Consultant and networking expert, who
primarily works in his home city of Corrientes. However, he is
frequently called upon by businesses and government organizations to
solve problems in other provinces as well as Paraguay. |
 |
He advises on Networks Security and
gives purchasing and upgrading advice for servers, PC computers, PBX,
surveillance systems, cell phones, radio communications and more for
many companies. |
 |
He is a Certified NetWare Engineer and
he has a Technical English Translation degree from the
"Universidad Nacional del Nordeste." He traveled all around
Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Brazil (where he learned Portuguese),
and has visited the States two times. |
 |
Traveler is the word that describes him
the best. His desire is to help people understand other cultures and
lifestyles, seeing the origin of their similarities while respecting
the differences. |
 |
Therefore, helping in some small way to
build world peace through understanding why your neighbor acts like he
does. He loves water sports, like sailing, rowing & water skiing,
and everything that has an engine, Hi-Tech electronics or state of the
art mechanical design pieces on it (or a blend of them all). |

Raúl
is a psychologist and works at the Minors and Family Court. He´s in
charge of psychological evaluations at the judge\'s request on Minors
who break the law, Family Violence, Abuse of Minors, and Adoption.

He's also a Professor at La Cuenca del
Plata University in He graduated at Rosario National University in
1991, and worked at Borda Psychiatric Hospital in Buenos Aires for two
years. He comes back to his hometown in 1993, and as a resident
obtains his specialization in Mental Health in 1994. He also graduated
as a Specialist in Forensic Psychology at the University of Social
Sciences and Business in Buenos Aires. He is an active speaker on
these topics throughout the community. |

Raúl has been to most of the countries
in South America, as well as, to the United States and Canada several
times. He lives with his wife, Alejandra, who is a also a psychologist
in the city of Resistencia. |
 |
They are both looking forward to
hosting an exchange student. Sports, specially basketball, and reading
are his favorite free time activities. He\'s interested in Latin
American writers. |
 |
Raúl and his wife enjoy traveling
together, making motorcycle trips throughout Argentina and camping
outdoors. Corrientes, where he teaches Forensic Psychology.

psychiatric hospitals in the province of Chaco. |
